Well folks, it appears the Blake Dewitt Era is over. Peter Gammons said this would be done in less than one hour. Apparently Ned needs 5 signatures to get it done. Still puzzled by Theriot. Maybe since he and Xavier Paul are from Slidell, La, XP will get better?
It looks to be an interesting fit for Dewitt to the Cubs. Can the Dodgers make a run? It's looking like a no, but the Giants have not ended their run unfortunately. The Dodgers have a chance and it starts at 1:10PM at AT&T park and possibly with a trade.
As for Manny, a ton of buzz. I think he is fair game and I think it should happen, but not today.
Too soon to break apart team. Dodgers committed to Bills, Ethier, Kemp, Kershaw, and Loney. Not willing to deal.
