Growing up a fan of the Dodgers in the Bay Area

This is my first entry so take it easy. I infiltrated this territory we call the SF Bay area in 1978 when I was born into an LA Dodger family. It could have been the Dodger hat my mom wore when I was born (she's an A's fan) or quite possibly my tío that was a huge Dodger fan and was always excited to talk about them, but I think it was my first game. Against the Astros, Batting Glove Night, and at Dodger Stadium. 1988 was icing on the cake when all of my classmates would yell Beat LA and I could just smile since the Dodgers beat the A's in 5 games.

This blog will be about my insight from afar and how I see things from my perspective. I read the times, ESPN Los Angeles, and the Dodgers website, so that's where I get my information.

I may at times really praise or criticize anything and everything that the owner, Joe Torre, or anyone else does.

I am excited to be here on my first sports blog and we'll see how it goes.

None of my views are supported by the Dodgers and their affiliates. The views are my own.

Thanks and happy commenting and blogging!
