Well folks, it certainly looks like the SS Dodger Cruise Ship has hit some very rough waters. I am not sure if all of the passengers (players) know what is going on.
As for tonight, not even huge Giants miscues could yield more than 2 runs. As for the K department, that's an improvement from the lack of strikeouts by Dodger pitchers in St. Louis.
What we saw from J-Mac was a last ditch effort to get a spot on the 25 man roster. He failed miserably. I don't care who you are, but you don't throw gasoline on a fire by throwing high fastballs to the Giants hitters that are as hungry for a BBQ right after church.
The Dodgers, won't last with J-Mac, so maybe, just maybe, Weaver could get the nod in 5 days. After that, the only option left is trying to promote another guy from AAA Albuquerque.
Tomorrow night will be an outstanding opportunity for Clayton Kershaw (Kid K) to show who has more upside v. Tim Lincecum (The Freak).
Let's see what happens and losing a game to the Giants stinks because you have the bases loaded with 2 outs and nothing...
Let's see if Manny can come back and help right the ship!
